Rogaška Slatina

Rogaška Slatina is a Low-Styrie commune of in Slovenia. The place is known since the Antiquité for its thermal springs with the beneficial effects on health, at the point to become at the 17th century a tourist center of attraction. At the 19th century, it became one of the most important places of cure of the Double-Monarchy, property of the largest owners and mineral water exporters.

In Rogaška Slatina, one also manufactures crystal. Into Low-Styrie the blower of glass knew its flowering at the 18th century, but it is only towards 1900 that the production was industrialized. In 1927 a lately built factory with Rogaška Slatina started to manufacture crystal and since 1998 one proposes it on the market under the name of Rogaška Crystal. ----
