Rodolfo Emilio Giuseppe Pichi-Sermolli
Rodolfo Emilio Giuseppe Pichi-Sermolli is a Italian Botaniste , born the February 24th 1912 with Florence and died in 2005.
He is the son of Giuseppe Pichi-Sermolli and Maria born Del Rosso. He is graduate of Natural history at the university of Florence in 1935. It Marie the April 9th 1942 with Clara Bernardini, union of which he will have two children.
Of 1935 with 1958, he is assistant at the Institute of botany of the university of Florence, 1958 with 1959 professor of botany at the Sassarid university in Sardinia and, finally, starting from 1959, professor at the botanical Institute of the university of Genoa and director of the Botanical garden.
It is specialized on the ecology and the phytogeography of the tropical Africa, one also owes him of work in vegetable Taxinomie.
