Rod Stewart , born the January 10th 1945 with London, is a singer of British rock'n'roll. Miraculé of the Second world war (a rocket V2 was crushed with two steps of at his place), Rod Stewart is resulting from a Scottish family - it is besides the only one of its phratry not to be born in Scotland. First of all tried by a career with Football Club of Brentford, he discovers the music at 12 years when his/her father offers a guitar to him.

During Years 2000, it gives up the Rock FM to become authentic a crooner jazzy.

Rod Stewart joins again with the rock'n'roll in 2006, with the album Still The Same. Great Rock'n'rolls Classics , a opus of resumptions in particular of Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and John Fogerty. This album is classified directly n°1 with the Billboard in the categories “Better album rock'n'roll”, “Signal Internet Album” and “Signal 200 Album”. Rod Stewart is also holder of records registered with the Guinness book:

Da Ya Think I' m Sexy? is the individual one most quickly sold history of the Rock'n'roll in 1979.
the concert on the beach of Copa Cabana in Brazil in 1994 joined together the greatest number of spectators, namely 4,5 million.

Also let us note that Rod which had not come in concert to France since 1995, was to occur on October 18th, 2007 in Paris Bercy, but that this show awaited so much after these long twelve years of absence was finally cancelled because of the large strike movements of public transport the SNCF and the RATP. The round which began with the U.S.A visiting the countries from Europe like the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Portugal, for a total of 86 dates….
