The rebuilding of the church of Rocquigny, destroyed by the war of 1914-1918, was the one contest object at the conclusion which the project of the architect Jean-Louis Sourdeau was adopted. This one designed a building of an esthetics new, calling broad upon the reinforced concrete, in particular for its bell-tower bell-tower, single in the area. The originality of its plan and its design, the quality of its decoration make this church a major element for the architecture of the first rebuilding in the department of the Pas-de-Calais. The project of Sourdeau was approved by the diocese of Arras on March 6th, 1928 and the church was built during the years 1929-1930. It is decorated stained glasses of flagstones of glass of Gaudin and mosaics of Mauméjean.
It is now closed, become dangerous because of disease of the concrete.
