Rocques

Rocques is a common French, located in the department of the Calvados and the area Basse-Normandie.

Rocques is located at 3.5 km of Lisieux (capital of the Pays of Trough), in the green valley of the Paquine . Formerly a source was supposed to cure many diseases. In the church, a furnace bridge is dedicated to Saint Roch, called upon against the contagious diseases.

The village is a starting place for many excursions .

Rocques accommodates the Oblates Holy Therese de Lisieux of the Jesus child, founded in 1933.

The church of Rocques (XIIIe century, the porch dating from XVIe) has the most beautiful porch of the Pays of Trough, made up of 2 parts, under which formerly the life of the parish was organized.
