Rockstar North
Rockstar North is a studio of development of Scottish video game based with Edinbourg. Founded by Dave Jones in 1988 under the name DMA Design , the company was made known for the series Lemmings then the series Grand Theft Auto. In 1996, DMA Design was repurchased by Gremlin Interactive then in 1999, by Take2 Interactive. This last re-elected the studio Rockstar North in 2002.

Bearings
In the first years of life of the company, certain members of the " clan" DMA Design were charged to carry out bearings of plays of Reflections Software, like Ballistix and Shadow off the Beast , on various machines (DOS, Commodore 64 or PC Engine).
