Rocketeer is a Comic-book of Dave Stevens reporting the adventures of a young person Aviateur in the Thirties.
The series received 2 Jack Kirby Award, that of the Meilleur draftsman (Best Artist) in 1995 and that Meilleur album (Best Graphic Album) in 1986.
Synopsis
Accustomed to acrobatics practiced in its air shows, Cliff Secord discovers a prototype of dorsal rocket stolen to the army by gangsters.Readily parodic and sexy, the data base presents to us a pseudo Betty Page in the person of Betty, boyfriend of the hero, and track races all rocambolesques the ones than the others.
Appeared in the Eighties, the comic-book retranscribes perfectly the spirit pulp and Serial of the first American cartoons.

The character of Rocketeer is actually inspired by another hero of data base: Rocketman, published in the Fifties.
