History
The team was founded in 1999 under the name of Rocket of Montreal in the honor of legendary the Maurice Richard of the Canadian of Montreal (called “ Rocket ”). The trail of smoke in the logo forms the number 9, which Richard carried. She was relocated with Charlottetown in the Island-of-Prince-Edouard in 2003.The club disputes its local matches in the skating rink Charlottetown Civic Center.
Rocket and the LNH
Maxim Lapierre is until now the only former player of Rocket has to have played in the National league of hockey.
