Rock-the-Molière

Rock-the-Molière is a common French, located in the department of the the Loire and the area the Rhone-Alps.

Its inhabitants is called Rouchons.

Geography

Located at the west of Saint-Etienne, Roche it _Molière consists of several districts among which Beaulieu, the Coast Durieux, the Echo, Pontin, the Game preserve, Grangeneuve… This commune is the junction between the urbanization of the crown inhabitant of Saint-Etienne and traditional agriculture. Personalities related to the commune

Jean Hugon, mayor during more than one ten years, deceased during its third mandate was also General adviser. Jean Hugon had been federal secretary of the Socialist party, trade-union activist, he was framework at the Company of Mining Helps of the Loire. Officer of the academic Palms, Knight of the National order of the Merit, he was also Chevalier of the National order of the Legion of Honor.
