Rock-in-Ardenne

Rock-in-Ardenne (in Walloon Li Rotche ) is a French-speaking city of Belgium located in Walloon region in the Province of Luxembourg.

Economy

The economy rochoise is mainly centered on tourism. The castle as well as the Ourthe which crosses the commune are the principal assets.

A zone of activity was created on the plate of Vecmont in order to diversify the local economy.

Trivia

  • the city was called orginellement the Rock. However in order to be able to carry out the distinction with the Rock in the Brabant, the city was authorized to change name to take its current name.
