Rochdale is a city of the North-West of the England, with the the United Kingdom, of a population of 95.796 inhabitants.

Located along the river Roch, it is the principal agglomeration of the Metropolitan area of Rochdale, in the Grand Manchester.

Forming part historically of the Lancashire, Rochdale was essential on the 19th century like a major center of weaving: in the middle of the process which gave rise to the Industrial revolution, it was one of the first industrialiées cities of the world.
