Robocop is an American film of Paul Verhoeven left on the screens in 1987.

Synopsis

The action is in the future, where the OCP ( Omni Consumer Product /Omni trust of the products in VF), a company surpuissante, with the seizure on various markets, in particular the medical Prothèse S, the artificial hearts and the Robot S.

The town of Detroit is invaded by the crime and violence. The officer Alex Murphy (Peter Weller), unloaded in a new unit, made team with Anne Lewis (Nancy Allen). It loses the life during its first mission.

Its body is then used by the OCP to give life to the project of police officer Cyborg: “Robocop”.

Once created, this one will do everything to find the killers who assassinated it and to find the traces of his wife and her son, of which he has hidden memories.

The film gave places to two continuations, Robocop 2 and Robocop 3 (décrié unanimously like unworthy of its predecessors by the public). It also gave rise to various derivative products.

Anecdotes

In Sacramento in 1987, a suspect continued by the police force took refuge in a cinema. It was absorbed so much by the film which passed on the screen - Robocop- that it did not realize that the room had been evacuated by the police force. When the lights were re-ignited, the police force stopped it quietly
