Robinvale

Robinvale (2083 inhabitants) is a city on southern bank of the river Murray in the north of the state of Victoria to 470 km of Melbourne and 478 of Adélaïde. The city is connected by a bridge to Euston, on the other side of the river, in News-Wales-of-South.

The city owes its name to lieutenant George Robin Cuttle, who was killed with the aerial combat in France in 1918. The lock n° 15, on Murray is located just downstream from the city what allows a assured irrigation for the area and the possibility of practicing water sports like the ski.

The city is an area of culture of vines, olive-trees, almond trees, market gardenings (carrots…).
