Robin Rimbaud
Robin Rimbaud alias Scanner is an artist English, born in 1964, with Battersea, London.
sound Plastics technician, one of most present of the electronic scene since ten years, it realized more than twenty discs on labels as prestigious as Sub Rosa, New electronica or Sulfur (its own label). Working mainly within the electronic movement, Robin Rimbaud is also the guitarist of the Githead group.
Voyeurism and sound environment
He attempts to create sound spaces which mingle technologies with nonconventional modes, trying out various fields such as the sound one, space, the images and the forms.
At the beginning of its career, it was pointed out as “a sound pirate”, being seen even describing as Peeping Tom, diverting phone conversations to reinstate them instantaneously in its composition.
