Robin Finck

Robin Finck is a guitarist who played in various groups of Rock. It belonged to Prowess, The Hookers, Impotent Sea Snakes, Nine Inch Nails, Sick Mutha F ** kers, Cirque of the Sun, Guns Pink.

Biography

Robin Finck is born on November 7th, 1971 in the New Jersey. 15 years old, he plays of the guitar in a group called Prowess in Georgia. Its musical influences are Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix. The group changes name twice, and Robin puts himself at the keyboards. Then, it changes group and joined The Hookers.

Of 1990 with 1991, Robin plays with the Impotent Sea Snakes. Of 1991 with 1997, it plays with the Nine Inch Nails, with which it will have played on only one and single album: “Further Down the Spiral”. While belonging to the N.I.N, he plays of the guitar, the keyboards and the Violon with Sick Mutha F ** kers. Robin also takes part in another personal project, the group: " Circus of Soleil" , which will last only the time of a round.

In 1997, whereas Axl moves towards very eclectic musics, its way crosses that of Robin, whose compositions are appropriate to him perfectly. Robin joined Guns Pink and written pieces for what will become Chinese Democracy. Its contract with Guns touching at its end in '99, it turns over at the N.I.N of which it will take part in the " Fragility V2.0 Tour". Always the same year, it is invited by Axl to play on Oh My God, B.O of " End off Days". He plays of the guitar at the sides of Dave Navarro and Paul Tobias on this title.

Robin then returned to repeat with the group for the concerts of beginning 2001. He had not played with GN' R for one year and half. Although it now is very implied in the new GN' R, it has declared in 2002 that " the doors were not closed to him in N.I.N". Robin was present on scene with Guns Pink at the time of the concerts from Las Vegas and Rock'n'roll in Rio III, and it ensured the lead guitars with Buckethead at the time of Chinese Democracy Tour, in August and December 2002 November. Robin is still to date guitarist of Guns Pink and particularly appeared on the European round 2006 of the group. It was in particular learned that it had composed the song Better .
