Robin Coombs
Robert Royston Amos (" Robin") Coombs , (London, on January 9th, 1921 - January 25th, 2006) estt a Médecin known immunologist British for his participation in the development of the test of Coombs (1945) which makes it possible to highlight the presence of Immunoglobuline S, (which belongs to the fraction of proteins of plasma called at the time Globuline S ), test which will become at the base of important examinations for the safety of a blood Transfusion (blood groups, search for irregular Anticorps), or for the investigation into the cause of a haemolytic Anémie.
