Roberto D\' Aubuisson

Roberto D' Aubuisson Arrieta , (August 23rd 1944 - February 20th 1992), a political figure Salvadorian also known under the names of Chele and Major Bob , was a politician and Salvadorian military leader who founded Nationalist Alliance Républcaine (ARENA), that he directed from 1978 to 1985.

It is generally thought that during the civil war which devastated El Salvador of 1978 to 1982, it was a central figure behind the Death squads which take the responsibility for many extra-legal executions. Major Roberto D' Aubuisson was probably implied in the assassination of Monseigneur Oscar Romero.

Roberto D' Aubuisson could perfect this knowledge in phsychologic war and methods of torture with the Military academy of Americas. Major D' Aubuisson was also called Blowtorch Bob, because its method of favorite torture was to burn its " patients" with a torch.
