Robert Taschereau

the very honourable Robert Taschereau (Quebec, 1896 - 1970), was lawyer, then Juge. He became judge as a chief of the Supreme court of Canada in 1940 and remained in station until 1967.

Biography

Following the death of Georges Basket maker, it acted as General governor of Canada from March 5th to April 17th, 1967.

His/her father, Louis-Alexandre Taschereau, was Prime Minister for Quebec, whereas his/her grandfather, Sir Henri Elzéar Taschereau, was also used as judge as a chief for the Supreme court of Canada.

He is member of the Ordre of Canada.
