Robert Camelot (May 20th 1903 with Rheims, November 4th 1992 with Paris) is a Architecte and Urbaniste French.
Biography
Robert Edouard Camelot was born in the house with the ensign from the Carpet-Red , 57 rue de Vesle, where his/her parents held a trade of innovations. Established in Paris, he exerted 1932 with 1977.Second Grand Prix of Rome in 1933, it settled the same year in partnership with Jacques and Paul Herbé. The agency Street pedlar-Bleached on grass carried out the Vocational school of young people of girls of Beaune, the house of the national Manufacture of Sevres to the World Fair of Paris in 1937, the house of France to the Fair of Zagreb and that of the World Fair of New York in 1939. Architect as a chief of the civil buildings and palates national and the historic buildings, in 1945.
As a town planner, Robert Camelot took part in the foregrounds of the district of Defense, in 1958, and conceived those of Lisieux, Nanterre, Chartres and Rheims. He is one of the joint authors of the Center of new industries and technologies (CNIT) and realized, with Jean-Claude Rochette, the building of the Agence France-Press in Paris, vis-a-vis the Palais Brongniart.
