Robert Saunal
Robert Saunal, born on November 2nd, 1920, is Compagnon of the Release.
May 1940: acceptable the Polytechnic National university and , it gives up the oral tests of admission following the German advance, and joined England to engage in the Free French Army.
Named Candidate, it joined the Brigade Koenig and takes part in the countryside of Libya of 1942 like orientator to the 1st R.A. With the Battle of Bir Hakeim, charged with the supply in ammunition of the batteries, it seriously wounded, then is made captive during the exit of sharp force, and is taken along in captivity to Italy.
He escapes from the prison camp in September 1943 and joined the allied lines. He takes part in the countryside of Italy from May 11th to June 20th, 1944 and that of France (Toulon-Belfort-Alsace).
In October 1945, it returns to make its studies at the School Polytechnique. He is engineer with the Corps of the Mines.
