Robert Quine

Robert Quine (born the December 30th 1942 with Akron (Ohio), dead the May 31st 2004 with New York) was a American Guitariste. He is the nephew of the philosopher Willard van Orman Quine and the cousin of daN Auerbach, the singer and guitarist of The Black Keys

After having been guitarist within the group Punk Richard Hell & the Voidoids at the end of the years 1970, Robert Quine published some albums solos and played with Lou Reed until 1985. Since, he worked without stopping for other famous and influential musicians, in the fields of the Jazz, the Rock, and the Blues. Among them: Brian Eno, Marianne Faithfull, Tom Waits, Patti Smith, John Zorn, Marc Ribot, Lloyd Sticks and even the rock'n'roll-critic Lester Bangs.
