Biography
Pickton is a farmer who divides a ground of a few hectares and some buildings with his brother with Port Coquitlam in suburbs of Vancouver. One of these buildings named the Piggy' S Palace : it was about a Discothèque where he invited a horde of gangsters and the crested class of Vancouver to bovine and/or porcine feasts, like with various spectacles. The mayor of Vancouver, Mr. Owen, was even one of his guests.Pickton was shown into 1997 of attempted murder on Wendy Lynn Eistetter with its farm. Eistetter had the stomach and the throat cut, it succeeds in fleeing. The charges were rejected by the local police.
In 1998, a recording between Bill Hiscox, former employee of Pickton and Wayne Leng, which holds a Web site on women missing from Vancouver, was sent to the police force of Vancouver. Nothing was undertaken by the local police. Several friends or family members of missing women invited the police forces to submit reports/ratios of disappearances. Almost all were refused. The answer was almost always: " it reviendra".
In September 1998, Kim Rossmo, Canadian police officer, specialist in the murders in series, employee of the police force of Vancouver at that time and which worked then as consultant in the file of the embusqué gunner of Washington, the establishment of a committee proposes to check the assumption of the " killer in série". It writes even an official statement to inform the population but of the internal wars within the police force will have as a consequence which the official statement will never be emitted, and the committee will be dismantled after its first meeting.
However, since 1998, Pickton is suspecté disappearance of several women of the disadvantaged district of Vancouver, his cleaning lady having found objects and the clothing of women stained of blood in the residence. But, the police service of Vancouver then says to have the hand tieds, since the farm is on the territory served by, national police force.
They will be only in 2002, whereas disappearances of prostitutes and young women drug addicts in Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, the " district chaud" , rise with nearly 70, that the two police services will carry out the arrest of Pickton. On the spot, they find enough evidence (traces of DNA inter alia) to accuse it of murder. The police officers find members human, heads, feet, hands in boilers, pieces of flesh in a Hachoir and traces of DNA in the Purin of pig. The porcine stockbreeder is suspected of having given to his pigs, like food, the corpses of certain victims and to have sold human remainders among the remainders of animals with companies of recycling for the cosmetic and food.
Five of the new charges relate to the deaths of Cara Ellis, Andrea Borhaven, Kerry Koski, Wendy Crawford and Debra Lynne Jones. Seven other charges are connected to the deaths of Marnie Frey, Tiffany Drew, Sarah Devries, Cynthia Feliks, Angela Jardine, Diana Melnick and a not identified woman (Jane Doe).
The 15 preceding charges milked with the deaths of Serena Abotsway, Mona Wilson, Jacqueline McDonell, Diane Rock, Heather Bottomley, Andrea Joesbury, Brenda Ann Wolfe, Jennifer Lynn Furminger, Helen Mae Hallmark, Patricia Rose Johnson, Georgina Faith Papin, Heather Chinnock, Tanya Holyk, Sherry Irving and Inga Hall.
It undergoes at present its first lawsuit for the murders of six victims: Serena Abotsway, Mona Wilson, Andrea Joesbury, Brenda Ass Wolfe, Marnie Frey and Georgina Faith Papin. Like proof the crown with deposited overpowering evidence: fragments found coming from the body of these women: the heads of Serena Abotsway and laterally sliced Andrea Joesbury and containing their feet and their hands, were found inside freezers resting each one in boilers. The head of Mona Wilson like his feet and its hands were discovered in a dustbin not far from the slaughter-house. The blood of the latter with also found papering the walls of the mobile house inhabited by Pickton. The jaw of Brenda Wolfe as well as the teeth of Marnie Fray were found by ground not far from the slaughter-house. The lawyer of Robert Pickton, Peter Richie, intends to prove that several people had access to the farm and that its customer is by no means guilty of the 26 presumptions of murders which weigh on him.
These 15 charges cover the period of 1996 to 2002, but some of the new charges are connected to deaths going back to 1995.
Lawsuit for the murder of six women

The judge, as the law envisages it, then records a plea of nonculpability for this one. The court however decided to distribute the lawsuit in several, because it evaluates the too important and too imposing load for only one Jury. The selection of sworn ended the December 12th 2006, in preparation for the first lawsuit for the murder of six women, which began on January 22nd, 2007. For this reason, 12 sworn and 2 substitutes of offices were selected. The lawsuit should last nearly one year.
