Robert Namias is a French journalist born the April 29th 1944 in Paris.
After having taught philosophy, it obtains its first use in 1968 with RTL as writer and to defer. In 1969, it joined Europe 1 as chronicler. It becomes, the following year, presenter of newspapers, then integrates the political service in 1971. Of 1978 with 1982, he is chief of the service company and editor association.
In 1984, Robert Namias leaves Europe 1 and becomes journalist for a medical program and a political emission ( Vis-a-vis the 3 ) on France 3. In parallel, of 1983 with 1987, it founds and directs the Parisian radio 95,2 FM. In 1986, it integrates TF1. It is there initially journalist for the emission Médecines with , before becoming Co-producer of Santé to until in 1994. He is also editor association of a first in 1987.
He joined the drafting of TF1 in 1990 as chief of the service economy, modern life, arts and spectacles. He becomes then editor association of the tv news 20 hour old (1991 - 1996) and assistant editor of the drafting. He is promoted fine director of the drafting 1992, then in June 1996, director of information. In 1994, it also assumes the presidency of the interdepartmental commission devoted at the speed and the road safety which gives place to a report/ratio published in December 1994. It becomes in April 2003 president of the National council of the road safety (CNSR).
The April 2nd 2005, Robert Namias is named executive vice president in load of the information of TF1.
He is married with Anne Barrère.
Robert Namias is Chevalier of the Legion of Honor, Officier of the national order of the merit and Officier about Arts and of the Letters.
