Robert Massin
Robert Massin , born in 1925, is a Graphiste, an artistic Director and a Typographe French. He is a major figure of the Graphisme French, in particular in the field of the edition.
Biography
Self-educated, it learns the trade near its future rival, the Typographe and Maquettiste Pierre Faucheux. He exerts initially for the French Club of the book, then for the Club of the Best Book.
Its entry with the editions Gallimard will mark the beginning of an exceptional work of edition, which will make evolve/move the traditional image of Gallimard. In particular, it will produce models for collections of Poésie and Théâtre with a nonconventional typographical approach. Words and images are put in dynamic scene of manner in order to improve comprehension of the text. Some of its most remarkable works: Exercises of style (1963) and A hundred and Thousand Billion poems (1961) of Raymond Queneau then, the Professional singer bald person (1964) and Be delirious to two (1966) of Eugene Ionesco.
It will take then the direction of Hatchet-Realities, then will become director of collection to the editions Denoël in 1981. It will create a graphic line for the Romance collections of French and foreigners of Albin Michel before working until today for the editions Robert Laffont.

An exposure was devoted to him to the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of decorative arts of Paris whose Graphiste Eva Barré said: " Best for a long time the ".
