Robert Ranke Graves (Wimbledon, London, July 24th 1895 - Deia (island of Majorque, Spain) December 6th 1985) is a Poète and British novelist .
It is especially known for its historical biography Me, Claude .
It also published in 1929 its memories of the First World War, goodbye to all that .
Its knowledge of the European myths enabled him to write many books, of which two in particular met a certain success: the White Goddess (published today under the name Celtic Myths ) and Greek Myths . However, they are not there works of a specialist, but rather, on behalf of a well-read man, two attempts at mythological interpretation, without much rigor and pouring in particular in a evhemerism whimsical and scientifically intolerable.
