Robert Lepage
Robert Lepage (born on December 12th, 1957 with Quebec) is a Director, a Scénographe, a dramatic author, a Acteur and a Cinéaste Québécois. Studies

Cinema

Recent projects

In 2005, Lepage founds in Quebec its own cinematographic production company, Equal Films. He cherishes for a time the idea to carry to the big screen his part to success the Trilogy of the Dragons , as well as other projects of young Québécois authors. But, for lack of financing, it is seen constrained to close this company in July 2006.
Its last spectacle solo, the Project Andersen , based on the life of Hans Christian Andersen, is currently in world tour. It prepares the part Lipsynch , as well as a new project of opera.
At the beginning of 2007, he is the member elect, equal with the German director Peter Zadek, of the Prix Europe for the theater, higher distinction European in the field. Peter Zadek not being presented to the handing-over of the price, this one is given entirely to Lepage.
In October 2007, at the request of Ex Machina, Patrick Caux and Bernard Gilbert publish a book, '' Ex Machina. Building sites of scenic writing '' (Editions of North - the Moment Even) explaining the step and the course of the company.
