Robert Kramer

Robert Kramer (June 22nd, 1939 with New York, the USA - November 10th, 1999 with Rouen, France) is a realizer, actor and American scenario writer.

Kramer studied the philosophy and the history of Western Europe in Swarthmore College and the University of Stanford. In the years 1960 it belonged to groups of radical left. In 1967, he is cofounder of the collective „Newsreel “which will allow, until our days, the realization and the diffusion of many engaged films, following close the social movements and the fights of the minorities. In 1969 Kramer turned with Norman Fruchter and John Douglas documentary the " People' S War" in the Vietnam of North.

Since the beginning of the years 1980 until its death Kramer lived in Europe.
