Robert II of Namur

Robert II of Namur , died between 1018 and 1031, was count de Namur of 1010 to its death. It was wire of Albert Ier, count de Namur, and perhaps of Ermengarde of Low-Lotharingie.

By his mother, he was great nephew of Lambert Ier, count de Louvain and assisted it in its combat against Baldéric, bishop of Liege, which they demolished the October 12th 1012 with Hougaerde. It then took part in 1015 in the battle of Florennes, where Lambert was killed.
