Robert II of Marck

Robert II Duke of Bubble and lord of Sedan, lord of Saulcis and lord of Dun and lord of Jametz and lord of Florange. He is the son of Robert I of Marck and of Jeanne de Marley.

He marries in 1490, Catherine de Croy, girl of Philippe count de Chimay and sister of Charles de Croÿ-Chimay.

They have 8 children:

Robert III of Marck de Bouillon duke of Bubble.
Guillaume lord of Jametz marries Madeleine girl of François lord of Azay.
Jean lord of Jametz marries Helene de Bissipat.
Antoine abbot of Beaulieu, died in 1528.
Philippe.
Jacques knight of the Order of Malta.
Filipino wife Renaud lord of Brederode.

Catherine de Croy founds the hospital of Sedan in 1521.

He dies in 1536 and his wife in 1544. They were buried with the church Saint Laurent of Sedan.
