Robert Huber

Robert Huber (born the February 20th 1937 with Munich) is a German Chimiste.

He studies, passes his doctorate and his accreditation to supervise research to the technological Université of Munich. Of 1971 at March 2005, he is director of the Institut max Planck of biochemistry to Martinsried close to Munich. Since 1976, he is also occasional professor at the technical university of Munich.

It obtains the Nobel Prize of Chemistry in 1988, jointly with Johann Deisenhofer and Hartmut Michel for his research on the three-dimensional structure of the photosynthetic reactive centers in the bacteria crimsons. Robert Huber deeply influenced the comprehension of the Photosynthèse by his theoretical and practical work on the X-ray crystallography of the Protéine S.
