Robert Hainard

Robert Hainard (September 11th 1906 with Geneva - December 29th 1999 with Nipple in the Canton of Vaud) is at the same time painter, wood engraver, sculptor (wood and stone), naturalist, writer and philosopher Suisse.

Biography

His/her parents were all the two painters.

He invents in 1927 a new process of Gravure on wood.

He in particular obtained the following distinctions:

  • restricted Contest of the Swiss Confederation
  • Price Edouard-Marcel Sandoz of animalist art of the Academy Grammont, Paris, 1974
  • Price of the international Academy of Philosophy of Art, 1984

  • Merit bernésien, 1987.

Some of its engravings are exposed to the Musée of Léman.
