Its work

Robert Doisneau is probably the French photographer most known in the whole world in particular thanks to photographs like the " To kiss Hotel of Ville". Its photographs of the streets of Paris and its suburbs made its fame…

Doisneau is a busy patient who always preserves a certain distance with respect to his subjects. It watches for the anecdote, the little story. Its photographs are often impressed of humor but also of nostalgia, irony and tenderness.

He worked on Paris, his suburbs and his inhabitants: craftsmen, bars, tramps, street urchins, in love, jugglers, etc; he recorded during nearly one half-century of the thousands of portraits of the small people of Paris.

He took part in the Group of the XV at the sides of Rene-Jacques, of Willy Ronis, Pierre Jahan, in the years 1950.
