Robert Dautray
Ignace Robert Dautray born on February 1st 1928 is a general engineer of the French mines.
Of Ukrainian origin (Kouchelevitz), former student of the polytechnic school, 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the mines of Paris and technical school. Scientific director with ECA, it contributes to the development of the field of the military applications of the atom after important scientific work on the isotopic regulation and the realization of experimental reactors (engine with very high flow of Grenoble). He works on the process of separation of the isotopes of uranium. He was high commissioner with the atomic energy of 1993 with 1998, member of the Académie of sciences (section of mechanical sciences and data processing) on February 7th 1977 and Grand-croix of the legion of honor. He is author of memories published at Odile Jacob in 2007.
