Robert Corillion
Robert J. Corillion , or Canon Corillion, (January 26th 1908, Hanvec - died in 1997), French botanist.
Mayenne
In 1925, it follows his/her father in Mayenne. Raise Teacher training school of Laval, of 1925 with 1928, it is Instituteur with Grez-in-Bouère of 1928 with 1931. It is ordered priest Diocèse of Laval in 1938, and is professor of Botanique at the secondary Institution of the Sacred Heart of Mayenne of 1938 with 1951.
The scientific research
It enters to the National center of the scientific research in 1946, and is science doctor of State in 1955. Professor with the Faculty of Science of the catholic University of Angers in 1951, he becomes senior of this faculty twice, until his transformation into Institut Senior research worker S. to CNRS (1956 - 1975), fee starting from 1975, he is assistant editor, then directing, in 1977, of the Research institute fundamental and applied. He held the presidency of Mayenne-Sciences of 1960 with 1975 (then honorary president), and of the Société of scientific studies of Anjou of 1958 with 1971. He will be also member of the office of the historical and archaeological Commission of Mayenne.
Botanist
He published important specialized works and studies of botany. This eminent Botanist, of world notoriety, also collaborated in scientists work of cartography of the Africa. It also specialized in the study of the Algue S of fresh water. Its philosopher's stone remains the Cartographie of the vegetation.

Its work is enumerated in a plate published by the Research institute fundamental and applied Angers in 1975: Glances over one century of research in vegetable Biology (Work and memories of the Laboratory of vegetable biology and phytogeography), by Robert Corillion, with the collaboration of Micheline Guerlesquin (1928-) and Simone Lemoyne.
