Robert Alban

Robert Alban is an old runner cyclist French, born the April 9th 1952 with Saint-Andre-in Huiriat.

It will become professional in 1975 and until in 1985 will remain it. It will gain 12 victories.

It took part in 6 Tours of France and was classified: 19th in 1979, 11th in 1980, 3rd in 1981, 11th in 1982, 5th in 1983 and 38e in 1984.

In the Tour de France 1981, it gained the 18th stage between Thonon-the-Baths and Morzine.

It was one of the fellow-members of Raymond Poulidor, of Bernard Vallet, Mariano Martinez and Stephen Roche inter alia.
