Course

Ballet dancer, her dreams break when, teenager, an osseous decalcification obliges it to forsake her passion. Young actress, it decides to devote herself to the music and the song in 1989. Since then, she collaborates mainly with her husband Mathieu Saladin, musician and often (Co) type-setter. Its first 45 turns, It walks , is published in November 1990. The same year, Jean-Rémy Gaudin-Bridet, president of the International Mylène Farmer Fan-Club which distributes at the time its album, introduces the Belgian writer to him Amélie Nothomb. The latter signs the call of the succube , interpreted by the singer on the 2nd edition of Princesse of nothing (2000).

In September 2002, Robert entrusts its third album, That which kills (13 titles + 1). Six texts are written by his/her Amélie friend, of which sordid the Requiem for a lost sister . In parallel, the graphomane leaves the novel Robert the proper names , inspired of the life of the singer.

Unutma (does not forget) (2004) is a collection of the most beautiful titles of Robert, extracts of his three albums (republished in 2007), alternate versions, and some new songs. The young woman expresses herself there in particular in Turkish (the titular beach). On this occasion, it re-records its title the blue prince , this time in duet with the singer and American actress Majandra Delfino (known for its roles in the feature film Traffic and the American series Roswell ). The clips of Robert are very appreciated, and for this duet, a cartoon film is carried out by Sebastien Rossignol. They receive together the price of the best special effects to the International festival of the Video clip in France.

The same year, a remixe of the title Nickel is carried out by Romain Tranchart (duet Modjo, known general public for its title Lady in 2000). The song leaves into individual.

If each album of Robert is designed like a small chief of work with whole share, it is on scene that its texts, finely written, take all their dimension. The artist supplements appears, hypnotic and enivrante there, in turn funny and dramatic. It generally occurs in the small rooms, often in charge of history, Paris. In spring 2005 leaves out of videodisk the recording its single concert given to the Cicada the September 25th 2004. The fourth album, Six feet under ground settles in the vats in November 2005. It comprises eleven titles written by Robert, like Prière to go to the paradise , a title borrowed from Marie Laforêt. The actor Sacha Bourdo ventures in the universe of Robert, and divides with it Histoire of wolf . The first individual one extracted is entitled Nobody , a title written and composed by the young woman. On this occasion, Gabriel Aghion ( the libertine , Beautiful-Mom , Soft pedal ,…) produce for the first time a clip, the eighth of Robert. The February 5th 2006, for the first time in sixteen years, the artist occurs with the Olympia.

In November, the same year, Robert signs with a new distributer, Rue Stendhal. In the tread, the label republishes all albums of the singer in January 2007. It is important to stress that, for the first time, all the albums of Robert are simultaneously available in the trade. In parallel, a clip carried out, was turned by Sylvain Gatelais in a very beautiful light for its duet with the actor Sacha Bourdo, " History of loup". a DVD in its concert with space Pierre Cardin is envisaged on October 8th, 2007 .

Anecdote
