Road Charts official Of the Quebec

The first official road map of Quebec was published by the Ministry for the Roadway system in 1926. Then as from the following year an official road map will be published at each year except for the years 1942,1944,1945,1946,1949,1968,1969,1998 and 2003.

Several oil companies such as American, Arco, Atlantic, B/A, BP, Citgo, Esso, Fina, GULF, Mobil, Shell, Sinclair, Sunoco, Supertest and Texaco will publish road maps during several years.

There are several collectors of these transitory which gathered in association: the " RMCA" Road Map Collectors Association.

Anecdote

In a humorous board of Heading-to-brac , in which André Franquin reviews the main themes of the Science-fiction, this one defines a Mutant like a person " able to fold up a road map first blow WITHOUT SE TO MISLEAD. " (sic!).
