Riverbank State Park

The Riverbank State Park is a park arranged on banks of the Hudson River in the west of Manhattan, New York. It includes/understands an Olympic swimming pool of size, a skating rink, an arts center of 800 places, a sports complex for: 2500 people and a restaurant. It is located on West Side Highway between the 137e and 145e Rues. It is about the only park of state ( state park ) of Manhattan. It attracts each year 2,5 million visitors

It is built above the reprocessing plant of the waste water North River Wastewater Treatment Plant , which renews: 500000 m ³ of water per day in dry weather and are envisaged to be able to recycle until: 1300000 m ³ in wet weather. It was built in two stages, between 1986 and 1991.

Since the walk located on bank of Hudson, the park offers a panorama which extends from Lower Manhattan to the New Jersey. It also offers to its young visitors a carousel, co-operative work of the New Yorkean artist Milo Mottola and children of the district which drew the animals of the horse-gear
