River-with-Thunder is a Municipalité of the province of Quebec (Canada), in the regional Municipalité of county (MRC) of Minganie of the administrative area of the Coast-North.

Chronology

The first newcomers with River-with-Thunder arrived in 1853. The majority left the Island of Anticosti shortly after the purchase of this one per Henri Menier, rich French chocolate seller. The newcomers bore names such as Cody, Lapierre, Lebrun, Boudreau, Blaney and Cormier, inter alia. (to be supplemented)

Policy

The current mayor (2005) of the municipality of River-with-Thunder is Jeannot Boudreau.

The six advisers in place are: Mr. Edwin Jump, Mrs. Léona Boudreau, Mr. Jean-Marie Roussy, Mr. Denis Bezeau, Mrs. Anne-Marie Boudreau, Mr. Julien Lizotte.

The first mayor of River-with-Thunder was Mr. Honore Bezeau.
