Rising of Glencairn

The rising of Glencairn is a Soulèvement in Scotland planned by William Cunningham, with an aim of causing a Insurrection in 1654 against the mode of the the Commonwealth of England.

Context

Following the defeat of Charles II of England and its allies Scot to the Battle of Worcester, the Parliament plans to incorporate the Scotland in the the Commonwealth of England.
