Ripoux is a French film left in 1984 Claude Zidi.

Synopsis

In the years 1980, Rene Boisrond, inspector post with the police station of the 18th district of Paris, carry out a quite quiet life of it, between his concubine Simone (Régine), a ex-prostitute, and his work which primarily consists in boxing occult bribes and commissions in all kinds, allowing him to appease his passion for the horse-races. The humdrum routine of this cop ripou , i.e. rotted (in Verlan), will be somewhat chamboulé by the arrival with the police station of the inspector Lesbuche, young person provincial fresh émoulu of the police academy, full with ambition and Petri of high moral principles, with which he will have to make team. Who will impose his vision of the trade on the other?

the principal spring of this comedy is the comic Duo.
One of the interests of film is to show Paris under one day atypical. It is a fresco, treated on the mode Comique, of the shady world of the little scoundrels of the 18th , far from the images of Épinal of the Montmartre and of the Sacré-coeur ridges.
the film is also a testimony on the French company of the Années 1980.
the world of the racegoers and the horse-races, in particular the races of trotters, is recurring in film.
the scenario puts in scene a vision of the police force quite distant from that conveyed, for example, by the series Navarro. But the characters, in particular Rene, miss moral rigor in vain and not to have large thing of heroic, they are not less attaching.
