Rio Timbó

The Rio Timbó is a Rivière Brésil ienne of the north of the State of Santa Catarina.

It is born on the northern slope from the Serra C Espigão (left the Serra Geral) and runs out of south-east in the North-West on 100 km parallel to the Rio Tamanduá, until receiving its water. This last is its principal affluent.

Rio Timbó passes by the towns of Timbó Grande and Santa Cruz C Timbó (in the municipality of Oporto União) and is thrown in the Rio Iguaçu between the towns of Irineópolis and Oporto União. It is itself one of the principal affluents of the Rio Iguaçu.
