Rio Jari
The Rio Jari is a Brazilian river 1.000 km length which bathes the State of Amapá. It takes its source in the West of the Serra C Jari, on the border with the Surinam and is thrown in the northern channel of the the Amazon to the locality Boca C Jari , on the municipality of Vitória C Jari close to the urban core of the municipality of Amapá. It runs North in the South, in a tortuous progression. It bathes the communes of Laranjal C Jari and Vitória C Jari, in Amapá, and Almeirim, in the State of the Pará.
Its course is intersected with several Cascade S: Cachoeira Macaé, Cachoeira C Desespero, Cachoeira Macaquara or Mucuru, Cachoeira Apurá, Cachoeira Meripatari, Cachoeira Andiroba, Cachoeira Urucupatá, Cachoeira Aurucuopatari, Cachoeira Gaivota, Cachoeira Urubu, Cachoeira Guaribas, Cachoeira Ipitinga, Cachoeira Maçaranduba, Cachoeira Aurora, Cachoeira Inajá, Cachoeira Veriverina, Cachoeira Itacé, Cachoeira Cumaru, Cachoeira Açaipé
