Ring of Kerry
The Ring of Kerry (in English: Ring off Kerry ) is a tourist tour of the Comté of Kerry, in the south-west of the Ireland.
Presentation
Circular circuit of 170 km, it takes the roads N70, N71 and R562. At the beginning of the town of Killarney, it passes in turn by: Kenmare, Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen and Killorglin. There exist alternatives, including bay of Finian Saint and the island of Valentia.
The “boxing ring” is a very snuffed tourist tour. Many companies of bus propose the visit in the course of the day. In summer period, because of the narrowness of the roads and the traffic, all the buses circulate in the contrary direction of the needles of a watch, while passing initially by Killorglin. It is thus highly recommended to the automoblisites to circulate in the direction of the needles of a watch, while starting with Kenmare.
