Ring Proudhon
The Cercle Proudhon is a think tank with the junction of the movement Nationaliste and movement Syndicaliste. Under the presidency of Charles Maurras of the French Action (AF), the first meeting is held on November 17th, 1911. The Circle explored the possibilities of reconciling the revolutionary Syndicalisme and the Monarchisme.
As of January 1912, work is published in the books éponymes at the rate/rhythm of a book per quarter. Their publication ceases at the summer 1914. The principal speakers were Edouard Berth, friend of Georges Sorel; the young person Street pedlar of the King Henri Lagrange, Georges Valois and Gilbert Mayor.
In its book the French Action and the Catholic religion (1913), Maurras explains how and on which bases based itself, to the French Action, the Proudhon Circle: “ the French which met to found the Proudhon Circle are all Nationaliste S. the owner whom they chose for their assembly their made meet other French, who are not nationalist, which is not Royaliste S, and which unites with them to take part in the life of the Circle and the drafting of the Cahiers . The initial group includes/understands men of various origins, different conditions, which do not have aspirations Politique S communes, and which will freely expose their sights in the Cahiers . But, integral republican S Federalistic S, nationalists and Trade unionist S, having solved the political problem or moving away it from their thought, all are also impassioned by the organization of the French Cité according to principles borrowed from the French Tradition, which they find in work Proudhon ienne and in the movements contemporary trade unionists… ”.
The circle published a bulletin entitled: the Books of the circle Proudhon and the Nouvelle national bookstore had published some volumes in a collection of the " Ring Proudhon".
