Ring B

The ring B is a planetary Anneau located around Saturn, more the intern of the two most brilliant rings of planet (the other being the Anneau has).

Characteristics

The ring B begins to 92.000 km from the center from Saturn and extends up to 117.580 km, ranging between the Anneau C, internal and of which it is separated by division from Lyot, and the Division of Cassini, more external, which separates it from the Anneau has. Its thickness is estimated between 5 and 10 m, its total mass with 2,8×1019 kg, are the three-quarters of that of Mimas.

With the difference of the ring has, the ring B is composed of a multitude of rings, some having of the eccentric orbits. Moreover, of the spots (or spokes , according to the English term) traverse it, made up of particles of dust; their origin is not clear, but seems related to the seasons.
