Rik Van Looy

Rik Van Looy , born the December 20th 1933 with Grobbendonk, is a Belgian racing cyclist. Called the Emperor of Herentals . With gained 482 victories in all: 371 professional victories (including 100 stages of Turns), 68 victories like amateur, and 43 victories like beginner. Rik was surrounded by its famous “Red Guard”, to gain all the traditional ones one day of the calendar (except for Bordeaux-Paris, it individual). He was thereafter owner of an open horse-gear, and chair football club of Herentals.
