Rigord
Monk of Saint-Denis, doctor, born between 1145 and 1150, originating in Nimes or Went. Entered the orders with Argenteuil, it arrives at Saint-Denis towards 1189. It writes a chronicle of the reign of Philippe Auguste of 1186 with 1208, the Gesta Philippi Augusti , which are taken again later by Primat in the Grandes Chronicles of France .
