Rigobert
Rigobert or Robert, monk then abbot of Orbais, was named bishop of Rheims in 690.
Towards 717, following a calumny, it was exiled by Charles Martel, his godson, who gave its évêché to Milon of Trier.
Charles Martel rehabilitated it a little later but as the bishop did not want to take again his place, it gave him a residence to Gernicourt, in the Aisne, where it was withdrawn there and died there hermit in 743). Its body was brought back to Rheims in the Saint-Thierry church.
