In certain countries, whose France, a person considering that one deformed or provided way incomplete of the facts relating to it can require to profit from a right of reply . The answer is published in theory under conditions comparable with the original article (even typographical body, and sometimes even heading).
If this right would not be respected and where the person would estimate herself defamed, it can carry the business in front of the courts within the framework of the laws on the Diffamation (which does not suppose necessarily the Calomnie: exact facts can be regarded as defamatory, such as for example the fact of quoting facts of nature, if they are only stated, to harm the reputation of the person, in same time that one omits to quote important components which would give its action in its context. Example: “Mr. X was interfered in such year with a business with flight car” if the reality of the facts is that one had stolen at that time the car of Mr. X.
